Saundersfoot Harbour Masterplan
The Urbanists have just been commissioned under the Welsh Assembly’s Consultancy Framework to undertake a comprehensive appraisal of Saundersfoot Harbour and waterfront. They will lead a multi-disciplinary team of consultants on behalf of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Pembrokeshire County Council and look at ten key sites within the town’s conservation area, to establish how they can be developed to enhance the economic prospects of this traditional seaside community. Many of the sites are unrealised assets that just need to be looked at together to see how important their collective redevelopment might be to the village. The study is due to be completed before Christmas.
