Huw provides innovative design solutions that respond to the unique character of places and the needs of people. Huw has a thorough understanding of the commercial constraints that shape a development project, and as such he adds value for our clients by providing outcomes that are both ambitious and realistic. With a strong architectural background, Huw is highly skilled in a number of spatial graphics packages, and utilises these skills to represent and develop design solutions for our clients that are of the highest professional quality.

What do you think makes a successful place 'work'?

Good design that encourages people to use the space and behave naturally.

What is favourite place & why:

Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada - great memories in a true wilderness.

What interests you outside of work?

I really enjoy white water kayaking, and try to travel as widely as possible to countries renowned for having challenging white water. I also play for the highly successful Urbanists FC.

What place do you most want to visit in the next ten years?

New Zealand – the scenery looks breathtaking, and I would like to experience the unique culture and world famous white water!

What is your favourite film?

Last of the Mohicans – a fantastic adaptation of a bizarre book into a great film.
